To the makers: “Make like nobody’s watching.” — @innonate #qcmerge (at Contemporary Arts Center)
Wander is a TechStars NYC grad and has just released an app called Days. I haven’t used it yet, but after hearing about their launch and reading this review, I’m intrigued and installing on iPhone as I type.
Based on this TC article, Days offers a slightly different approach to photo sharing, seemingly driven by a philosophical deviation from most photo sharing apps today.
My favorite part:
“Wander picked up on the fact that users normally snap more than one picture…to ensure…multiple options for each instance.
But Wander doesn’t want you filling up your day with a bunch of throwaways… Wander turns all photos taken within ten seconds of each other into a gif. You have the option to go in and split the gif, delete one or two pics, or leave it the same.”
